🎓 Eligibility & Qualification
| Educational Qualification | Bachelor’s degree (BA / B.Sc or equivalent) from recognized university + Proficiency in computers (Word Processing & Spread Sheets). |
| Hindi/Sanskrit | Must have passed Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit OR +2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one subject. |

📝 Selection Process & Exam Pattern
- Stage 1: Written Examination (Computer Based Test – CBT) – 2 hours, objective + subjective.
- Subjects: General Knowledge (50 objective Qs, 50 marks) + English Composition (50 objective Qs, 20 marks & subjective: Essay, Letter, Precis, Translation – 30 marks). Total 100 marks.
- Negative Marking: 1/4th mark deducted for each wrong answer in objective portion.
- Qualifying Marks: 33% in each subject; overall 40% aggregate to qualify.
- Subjective English: will be evaluated only for those who secure ≥33% in GK.
- Stage 2: Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) – Qualifying only. Spread Sheet Test (10 marks, 10 min, need ≥4 marks) + Typing Test (English @30 wpm).
- Final Merit: Based on marks in CBT (objective normalized + subjective). CPT is qualifying only.
- Tie-breaking: older age, then alphabetical order.
📌 Normalization of marks will be done for multi‑shift exams using standard deviation method (details in notification).
📍 Exam Centers & Admit Card
- Examination may be conducted anywhere in Northern India. Date/center will be notified on www.sssc.gov.in. No change of center/date/shift allowed.
- E-Admit Cards will be uploaded on website. Candidates must paste recent photograph (same as uploaded) duly attested (Gazetted/self). If photo mismatch, entry will be denied.
- Demo/mock test link available 15 days prior to exam.
📄 Important Instructions & Documents
- Only bonafide residents of Haryana can claim reservation (SC/BC/EWS/ESM/PwBD/ESP). Others must apply under General category.
- Valid caste/income/resident certificates as on 23.06.2026. OBC certificate must be with non-creamy layer as per Haryana Govt. norms.
- EWS certificate must be issued for year 2026-27 based on FY 2025-26 income; central govt EWS certificate not accepted.
- PwBD candidates must upload disability certificate as per prescribed categories only. Exemption from CPT may be applied with medical certificate.
- No TA/DA for exam. Mobile phones/electronic devices strictly banned.
- Re‑evaluation not allowed; only re‑checking on request with ₹500 fee within 30 days of final result.
- Canvassing, false information, or concealment leads to cancellation.

- Complete Registration (Personal details, email, mobile) – get Registration ID.
- Login, fill application form with qualification, category, etc.
- Capture real-time photograph (system camera/webcam) and upload scanned signature.
- Pay application fee online via net banking/debit/credit/UPI.
- Submit application and take printout. No offline application accepted.
