Candidate must be:
- A citizen of India, OR
- Tibetan refugee (came before 01.01.1972), OR
- Person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, or Zambia

Must be suitable for appointment. Persons terminated/dismissed from Government service or convicted of serious offences are ineligible.

Male with more than one wife alive OR Female married to a person already having a wife alive = NOT eligible.
📌 Physical Fitness
Must be in good mental and physical health. Medical certificate from Medical Officer (not below Dy. Superintendent) required at joining.
